Dear Colleagues,

The January meeting of the Chosenshi Kenkyukai will be held Saturday, 
January 27.  This month's speakers, in Japanese, are as follows.

Research Presentation:
Ogawara Hiroyuki.  "The Japan-United States Treaty and the Issue of 
Abolishing the Authority of the Consular Court with Regard to Industrial 
Property Rights and Copyrights in South Korea"

Book Review:
Wada Haruki.  "Manju chiyOk Hanin Ui minjok undongsa (1920-45)," by Shin 
Chubaek (Seoul: Asea munhwasa, 1999).


The meeting will be held at the Kanda campus of Senshuu University, in 
Seminar Room 43, from 1:30 pm.  Senshuu University is near Kudanshita 
station (exit 5) and Jinbochou station (exit A2), and is a short walk from 
the used bookstore district called Kanda or Jinbochou.
