Dear Mr. Burgeson, 

I took a look at the websites for the Korea Foundation, the Blakemore Foundation, the Social Science Research Council, and Fulbright, and all have funding opportunties for non-academics. I don't know if you have already looked into this but you might especially be interested in the language training grants available through the Blakemore Foundation.
