Well, the Choson Ilbo in English reported recently that
"Lee Cham (55), the German-born media celebrity, was appointed CEO of 
the Korea Tourism Organization" then went on to add "During the last 
presidential election campaign, Lee served as a special advisor on the 
Grand Canal Project for President Lee Myung-bak." So there is one 
potential source of information with whom you can communicate in German.
