We would like take the opportunity for an academic reflection and to re-examine how it has been formulated and discussed. We welcome papers in humanities and social sciences that address the political and cultural issues raised by of the candlelight vigils, and that explore their implications in larger context of democracy, civil society, or digital communications.

Contributors are requested to send an electronic version of the manuscript as an e-mail attachment, along with an abstract, keywords, and a brief curriculum vitae.

The submitted papers will be reviewed by the Editorial Board whose comments, if any, will be available within one month of submission. Selected papers will be published in the 2010 summer issue of the Korea Journal, with authors paid according to our regular scale.
