Hello Jonathan,
My name is Elise Foxworth. I do research on literature written in 
Japanese by zainichi Koreans in Japan. A movie was made in the 70s that 
was based on the novel "Kayako no Tameni" (For Kayako) by Lee Hoe Sung 
(Ri Kai Sei in Japanese)李恢成　in which there is a scene of the 
grandmother doing a sinse ta'ryang (Korean lamentation). This may or may 
not be of use to you. Let me know.
