(History of East Asia)

The Department of History and Philosophy at Eastern Michigan University
invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professorship beginning
Fall 2010 in the history of East Asia. Field of specialization is open.
The successful candidate will teach an introductory course in world
history, upper division courses in the history of China and Japan, and
graduate courses in his/her field of specialization.

Applicants who have completed the PhD by August 31, 2010 are strongly
