[KS] request for help to verify a birth date

Dear List members,
I would like to ask your help in tracking down the birthdate of the socialist Hô Jông-suk. Her obituary in the Nodong Shinmun states that she was born on July 16, 1908, and most accounts seem to follow this, but one historian has suggested it was 1902. I wonder if anyone could help me with this? I am sure there is an obvious and authoritative source that I am missing – a dictionary of biography where all the hard work has been done? I would be very grateful for any pointers.
