As far as Kilsoo Haan being "important," he certainly was in his own mind. In addition to appearing before Congress, he wrote letters to the War Department, the Justice Department, Military Intelligence in Hawaii, the Director of Central Intelligence (CIG), etc., and in many instances they returned the favor. Some must have taken him seriously.
