Position Announcement: Tenure-track faculty position in Political Science at the rank of Assistant Professor, University of Utah

The Department of Political Science at the University of Utah invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Political Science at the rank of Assistant Professor.  The starting date for this position is July 1, 2015. Candidates must show promise of excellence in research and teaching.  Preference will be given to candidates with a PhD in hand, but consideration will also be given to advanced candidates who will complete their degree by the beginning of the appointment.  This position is made possible by funding from the Korea Foundation, so the successful candidate should have demonstrated expertise in Korean politics and be able to contribute to the study of Korean politics from a regional, global, and/or public policy perspective.  Applicants with strong training in the theory and methods of comparative politics, international relations, and/or public policy are encouraged to apply.
