[KS] Non-Tenure-Track Teaching Position in Korean Studies at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies

The Department of Korean Studies at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (Yongin-si, South Korea) invites applications for a one-year, non-tenure track, teaching position (with possible multiple renewals) to begin in March 2016.

 

Applicants must have a PhD in any related field of Korean studies at the time of application and demonstrate native or near native fluency in English and Korean. Experiences in teaching introductory and survey courses and curriculum development will be appreciated.

 

The appointee will teach average three undergraduate courses per semester in the Department (the language of instruction is English) and advise undergraduate students. The University will provide competitive funding for research project and on-campus housing.

 

Review of applications will begin in early November (all applications received by October 31, 2015 are guaranteed full consideration).
