The Intercultural Institute of California (IIC) is a private, independent,
nonprofit organization, offering Korean studies programs for students. The
IIC also hosts a special on-going lecture series and online discussions,
promotes research, and publishes selected books and articles. Education at
IIC is effective because it integrates cross-cultural experiences with
relevant coursework, independent research, and training in the skills
necessary for success in the 21st century. Our aim is to provide students
with an exposure to the rich cultural background of Korea in relation to the
peoples of the Pacific Rim, and an understanding of the dynamic forces of
the global marketplace and our roles as global citizens.

Attached is a sample of 2003 Fall Session Courses and Master of Arts degree
programs. Also, please note that individual classes can be taken as an
audit. Forms attached can also be downloaded from our website. Please check
out our website, www.iic.edu and if you have other questions, please feel
free to contact us.

Thank you,

would you recommend to a student to do graduate study in Korea...such as
Yonsei University - GSIS...if they wanted to later pursue an academic career
in the field? Or would it be better served going to a graduate program in
the US?
